We continue to be busy with 110 new referrals into CYPPS in February. We are currently actively searching for 92 placements and we made 129 placements in February. Roughly half of the referrals we receive each month are for 16 and 17 year olds with the remaining young people being a spread of ages with most being in the 10-15 category.
I am making my way round to some Foster Carer support groups and it is great to hear about the wonderful work that you are all doing. What you are juggling on a daily basis is amazing! We continue to have more young people placed with in house carers than IFA’s and this is the best possible arrangement for children who can’t live in their own family networks. Thank you all very much.
