Supporting your child's education

These resources have been developed with the COVID-19 crisis in mind, and aim to help you manage the sudden ending of school-as-usual, managing schooling through a crisis, and how we return to ‘normal’ – or not! However, the ideas contained within the videos and resources can also be more broadly useful in encapsulating an attitude toward education for traumatised children. We emphasise the importance of close communication with schools, understanding the meaning behind behaviours, and holding onto the essential nature of prioritising regulation before learning.
